CompareDiner network and table bookings (Booking Holdings)

Hangar vs OpenTable

OpenTable is the biggest diner network in the world, and it charges you for every diner it sends. Its UK contract is one year and renews itself. Its own wording is "Restaurants own their data, and guests own their data", so a guest who books through OpenTable reaches you only if they've given OpenTable permission. It has no till, no payments beyond deposits, no wifi, no rota and no stock. Hangar takes bookings on your own pages with no per-cover fee, keeps every guest on your database, and runs the rest of the venue too.
